Book of the Week

Good Girls and Wicked Witches: changing representations of women in Disney's feature animation 1937-2001 by Amy M. Davis (Indiana University Press, 2006) NC1766.U52 D53245 2006. Looks at the notion of Disney's heroines within American culture by analyzing the construction of female characters in the animated films of the Walt Disney Studio.

BOOK OF THE WEEK:
